Entry into force: January 12, 1951.

Plenipotentiaries
on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court in Rome on July
17, 1998.

Croatia
ratified the Rome Statute on May 21, 2001.

Clanak 6: Genocid
Za potrebe ovog Statuta izraz "genocid" znaci bilo koje od niže navedenih djela pocinjenih u namjeri da se uništi, u cjelini ili djelomice, nacionalna, etnicka, rasna ili vjerska skupina kao takva:(a) ubijanje clanova skupine;
(b) nanošenje teških tjelesnih ili duševnih povreda clanovima skupine;
(c) namjemo nametanje skupini životnih uvjeta sracunatih na to da dovedu do njenog cjelovitog ili djelomicnog fizickog uništenja;
(d) nametanje mjera kojima je namjera sprijeciti radanje unutar skupine;
(e) nasilno premještanje djece skupine u drugu skupinu.
